Kellie Ashley

Presenter biography: Kellie Ashley, Librarian, EAIT/Science Faculty Team, Client Services, The University of Queensland Library.

Kellie is a librarian with over 20 years experience in Australian and U.S. academic and special libraries. After a number of years working in the social sciences and humanities section of UQ Library she moved to the engineering, architecture, IT and science faculty team of the Library and liaises with a number of different schools. From 2015-2017, Kellie worked with librarians in the Digitisation section of UQ library to develop an online exhibition which would honour the late Professor Dorothy Hill and her history and legacy with the University and contribution to the Library. Kellie is a member of the Library’s social media and engagement team representing the Dorothy Hill Engineering and Sciences Library. As a member of the EAIT/Science faculty team she is interested in the use of traditional and non-traditional methods of engaging with researchers and students to provide a visible and pro-active liaison service.
