Tanja manages Systems and Operations related projects at Hospital Library - Monash Health. As the largest public healthcare services provider in Victoria, Monash Health provides integrated health care services available to over 1.3 million people, representing 24% of Victoria’s population. Library team supports the organisation by providing responsive and effective library service which has been recently remodelled to ensure that Monash Health staff, researchers and students can find information and receive support quickly and easily in the moment of need.
In her previous liaison librarian roles at the University of Melbourne and Holmesglen Institute, Tanja was responsible for teaching Scholarly and Digital Literacy program for health, veterinary and dental science degrees. Tanja is also an experienced web developer/graphic designer with 18 years of experience. She worked as a web designer at Infoxchange Australia, a leading Australian IT company for the non-for-profit sector and All About Graphics (private graphic design studio). Tanja is also a gardener, choir singer, yoga/guitar teacher and an enthusiastic knitter with a growing number of incomplete knitting projects
Alice is the Director of Library Services at Monash Health. Alice has spent her career working in the special library sector including health, law and corporate libraries. Alice joined Monash Health in 2018 after working at Lander & Rogers, a leading Australian commercial law firm where Alice managed the Library and contributed to the firms knowledge management strategy. Alice has also worked in the libraries at the Law Institute of Victoria and TABCORP and in various roles focused on projects for the improvement of information services. Alice holds a degree in Arts and Information Management from Monash University. Alice’s favourite pastime after spending time with her son and partner, is walking along the Koonung Creek trail in Melbourne’s east with her Schnauzer dog Peppa and an audio book on the go.
